Michael Zhang is a Professional Photographer based in Washington DC and working everywhere.

Over the pandemic, I decided to put law school on hold to pursue my passion for art and photography professionally.

While my work spans a wide range of categories from explosive protests to languid still lifes, they are united by a keen eye toward geometry and composition, focusing on aesthetic and nuanced storytelling.

My photojournalism work has appeared in the Washington Post and other international publications while my fine art photography has been honored in exhibits and galleries around DC. For my event photography, I have photographed numerous Supreme Court Justices, members of Congress, as well as countless other public luminaries.
